Ginger, I too used to think that if we just presented the FACTS to reporters they’d take an interest the epidemic of neurologically damaged children. IT NEVER HAPPENED. I just turned to writing on alternative outlets. This is where our story will be told. The mainstream media is an dying entity.

Thank you for everything you do!

I agree. Interviews with the corporate media are to be entirely avoided. They just cannot be trusted after so many decades of lying and distorting the truth so shamelessly.

I'm halfway through listening to your call. Brilliant idea to record it.

The idea (suggested by the ABC staffer) that there is a pile of money that could *either* fund research into the causes of the autism epidemic, *or* pay families affected by autism... It's the kind of BS rhetorical device the media is so good at using, because most people don't understand how federal budgets work, or have any idea of the numbers involved. Great job pointing out how much money your family would be owed, to make it clear that even if there were a bucket of money allocated to "autism" broadly, funding research of the type RFK has described is a drop in the bucket compared with what families would be due, if the feds chose to compensate them. Compensating families, or even paying their expenses, would involve a massive federal appropriation.

I can only imagine the emotional energy it took for you to once again go through the work of telling the story, remaining calm, citing the data points, etc., knowing how it was likely to end. For so many people, the truth is too horrible to believe, so they choose to pretend it isn't true. I can only hope that other people at ABC who hear about your interview choose to do their own research and come upon the truth. Individual families may benefit from your hard work.

You said the idea "there is a pile of money that could *either* fund research into the causes of the autism epidemic, *or* pay families affected by autism... It's the kind of BS rhetorical device the media is so good at using". I'd slightly deviate from that. I'd say that it is the kind of BS rhetoric dreamt up by pharma PR agents from their book of deceit.

Good point. It's not as if the folks at ABC think of this stuff themselves.

Thank you so much for your tenacity for all of these years.

Some day, the truth will be told, and listened to. Some day, they will stop approving new vaccines, will stop monkeying with our genetic code, and stop pushing institutionalized poison. We are SO not there yet. So, until then, we persist. . .
